Amelia graduated from the Yong Pung How School of Law of Singapore Management University in 2024. She is set to be called to the Singapore Bar as an advocate and solicitor in early 2026.

Amelia has been involved in matters spanning across multiple practice areas. Her experience includes contractual claims, shareholder disputes, debt recovery and shipping disputes, international arbitration and mediation.

She interned with the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme before law school and assisted in an array of criminal and probate matters throughout law school. She was also in the first batch of associates in The Lighthouse Project under the SMU Pro Bono Centre, which enabled law students to assist directly in pro-bono cases.

Outside of work, she remains dedicated to her hobbies. She currently serves as Vice-President of SMU Eluminix, the alumni branch of SMU Eurythmix, the university’s premier hip-hop club.
