Celina is a qualified Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore with a focus on Dispute Resolution & Litigation, with significant exposure to General Commercial Litigation, International Arbitration and Shipping related matters.
Celina has experience in a variety of complex matters and has advised clients in a diverse range of matters, including shareholders’ and corporate disputes, civil disputes involving commercial contracts, tortious claims and probate matters. Since getting called, she has acted in high-value claims before the Singapore High Court and Singapore Mediation Centre, as well as advised on restructuring and insolvency proceedings for both Singaporean and foreign entities.
Celina has represented clients in disputes involving breach of contract, tort of deceit, unjust enrichment, constructive trust, conversion, and wrongful detinue. She has also been involved in obtaining urgent injunctive relief and enforcing arbitral awards. Further, Celina’s work encompasses drafting and reviewing legal documents to assist high net worth individuals apply for fund management tax exemptions.
Beyond her legal experience, Celina was actively involved in various pro bono initiatives and student leadership roles. In particular, she was Vice Director of CJC-LASCO in the NUS Law Criminal Justice Club. She was also notably involved in a student-led initiative which aimed to foster direct knowledge exchange and academic collaboration between students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Faculty of Law and Thammasat University (TU) Faculty of Law in Thailand.
