Wen Yang is a qualified Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore with a focus on shipping, marine insurance, and international trade sectors.
Wen Yang graduated from the Yong Pung How School of Law in Singapore Management University in 2023 with Magna Cum Laude.
Wen Yang was called to the Singapore Bar in 2024. and has since been mainly involved in commercial disputes regarding international trade and shipping matters. This includes charterparty disputes, bunker disputes, marine insurance claims, international trade matters, ship chandler claims and ship arrest. He also has experience in matters related to general commercial litigation and has acted in proceedings for breach of contract, shareholders’ disputes and debt recovery matters.
Wen Yang has also acted in a criminal case involving the Prevention of Corruption Act.
In his role as legal associate, Wen Yang is adept at legal research, drafting, case analysis and preparation and is committed to delivering strategic and commercial solutions to clients.
